Table Of Contents
Everyone knows that backing a player on StakeKings who goes on to profit in their chosen tournament yields money; that’s the very nature of staking. But did you know that the best stakers receive cash bonuses into their StakeKings account every month?
The StakeKings leaderboard awards cash bonuses to the top 25 backers each month it runs. You receive one leaderboard point for every $1 you receive back in winnings, plus an additional 250 points for every package where you are the last person to buy out the package.
Finish in the top 25 of the leaderboard, and you’ll receive a $5 cash bonus in your StakeKings account for every 1,000 leaderboard points you earn. It is as simple as that.
Since you are joining the October leaderboard midway through the month, you will be delighted to learn you can grab up to 2,000 bonus points right off the bat. First, you’ll receive 1,000 leaderboard points for signing up the StakeKings’ excellent “Raise The Stakes” newsletter. An additional 1,000 points are yours if you are a new depositing player or refer a new depositing player in October.
October’s Top 25 Backers (as of October 18)
As you can see from the current top 25 table, some StakeKings backers receive plenty of money back each month through their backing ventures. The current leader, “LEBANK,” has received $58,879.84 back from the player they have staked. Be aware that sum may not all be net profit. If the leaderboard stopped today, “LEBANK” would receive almost $300 in bonus cash in their StakeKings account.

If October’s leaderboard finishing with similar numbers, a single winning trade could be enough to propel you into the top 25.
A quick look at the StakeKings marketplace shows seasoned pro Joey Weissman has tons of action for sale for his online and live events. Weissman is grinding away at the APT Manila festival, but he also has 30% of his action available for a $5 million guaranteed online poker tournament. First place in that event it likely to be around $700,000, which would equate to 2,100 points if you bought just 1% of his available action and he went on to win!
