The World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) is set to return to King’s Resort in Rozvadov from September 17 to October 8, 2025.
One of Europe’s biggest poker festivals returns with a schedule featuring 15 WSOP bracelet events and a guaranteed prize pool of €20 million.
Key Events and Highlights
The festival kicks off with the €500,000 GTD NLH Bounty Hunter Opener on September 17, followed by the WSOPE NLH King’s Million. This event comes with a €350 buy-in — the smallest buy-in of the schedule — and €1,000,000 GTD.
Pot-limit Omaha specialists will have several bracelet events to look forward to, including the €2,000 Pot Limit Omaha 8-max on September 18 and the €10,000 PLO Mystery Bounty on September 29. Both of these events feature a €1,000,000 prize pool.
One of the most anticipated tournaments is the €10,350 WSOP Europe Main Event, running from October 3-8.
The largest prize pool of the festival is reserved for the Main Event, with €6,000,000 guaranteed for this prestigious event. Last year, it was Italian Simone Andrian who came out on top, besting a field of 768 players to win €1,300,000.
Other notable events include:
Early Bird Hotel Special
King’s Resort has also announced an Early Bird Hotel Special for WSOPE participants, offering a reduced rate on 5-star superior rooms. Players can book accommodations starting at €125 per night (Monday through Thursday) and €210 per night (Friday through Sunday), a significant drop from last year’s €300 per night.
The offer is valid for stays between September 17 and October 8, 2025, with a minimum stay of three nights. Reservations must be made by March 31, 2025, to secure the discounted rate.

How many decks are used in poker?
how many decks are used in poker?
In most popular poker variants, such as Texas Hold’em and Omaha, a standard deck of 52 playing cards is used. Each deck contains four suits (hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades) and consists of 13 ranks (Ace, 2 through 10, and the face cards: Jack, Queen, and King).
However, it’s important to note that the number of decks used in poker can vary depending on the specific game or variation being played. For example, some poker tournaments or cash games may use multiple decks to speed up the gameplay or reduce the frequency of card shuffling. In such cases, it is common to use two or more decks that are shuffled together.
