The Gran Via Casino in Madrid is finalizing preparations for the 2025 888poker LIVE Madrid festival. The venue will be packed to the rafters from January 12 through January 19 as poker players from far and wide attempt to get 2025 off to the best of starts by becoming an 888poker LIVE champion.
As is often the case on the 888poker LIVE tour, the 2025 Madrid festival starts with a €220 No-Limit Hold’em Opening Event. It features a trio of starting flights, the first on January 12, before crowning its worthy champion on January 14. Last year, 353 players turned out for this tournament, with Kwan Chan outlasting them all and collecting €14,000 for his impressive victory.
After the Opening Event, players can enjoy various affordable tournaments, including the €330 Mystery Bounty, the €220 Mid Shot, a €165 Pot-Limit Omaha, and the €100 Closer. A €2,000 High Roller is sandwiched between those events and the eagerly anticipated €888 Main Event.
The Main Event has four flights, including a turbo-structured Day 1D, starting January 15. Aside from the turbo flight, none of the main event days start before 3:00 p.m. CET, giving you ample time to rest, recuperate, or explore the incredible city of Madrid.
