Poker Legend Phil Hellmuth Joins BetRivers as Brand Ambassador
Phil Hellmuth has become a brand ambassador of BetRivers, the name behind the newest online poker site in Pennsylvania.
The 17-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner has been sporting a BetRivers hat in live tournaments the past couple of months. But now the presumed deal is official, PokerNews has confirmed.
BetRivers Poker, the sixth licensed poker site in PA, is owned by Rush Street International (RSI), a gaming company Hellmuth’s had a stake in for years. The poker site and accompanying BetRivers Casino online casino is an internet version of the five popular land-based Rivers Casinos located across the country, two in Pennsylvania.
What Poker Legend Will Be Doing
Hellmuth’s role, according to a press release, will be as a brand ambassador and content partner for RSI’s full complement of products. That includes the online poker site, casino, sportsbook, BetRivers Network, and the Poker Night in America show.
The press release outlines some of the duties Hellmuth will be responsible for in his ambassador role. He will headline events at land-based BetRivers casinos, host dedicated tournaments on the BetRivers poker site, provide sports betting commentary, and make appearances on Poker Night in America.
Hellmuth is no stranger to Poker Night in America. He’s appeared on the show numerous times in the past, including the show’s iconic “King of the Hill” heads-up mini-tournament in 2017, which he won after beating Doug Polk and Dan “Jungleman” Cates.
But he won’t just be representing the poker site like he did with the now defunct Ultimate Bet site in the pre-Black Friday era. The Poker Hall of Famer will be a company-wide promoter.

Hellmuth joins another prominent poker pro on the Rush Street/BetRivers team — Phil Galfond, who sold his Run it Once poker site to RSI in 2022 and also has a partnership deal with the major casino brand.
