We have four PokerNews-exclusive tournaments running online at PokerStars between December 26 and January 9 that have $109 and $1,050 tickets added to their prize pools. Getting involved in these added-value tournaments is easy; here’s how you could be playing for New Year Series tickets over the festive period.

First Event Runs on Boxing Day

Our first tournament is the PokerNews PowerPath Open Sat, which shuffles up and deals at 2:00 p.m. ET on December 26. This event only costs $1.10 to enter yet has five $109 Power Path Open tickets added to its prize pool. Get your hands on one of those tickets, and you’ll be playing in the 1,000-player capped tournament on December 29, where four Gold Passes and 11 Silver Passes are waiting to be won.

The next three PokerNews-exclusive tournaments run on January 9, and you can play in all three.

First, at 2:00 p.m. ET, we have the PokerNews New Year Series Event Freeroll that has two $109 New Year Series Main Event tickets in its prize pool. Half an hour later, at 2:30 p.m. ET, the $1.10 buy-in PokerNews New Year Series Event Fiesta kicks off. In addition to any prize money won, the top five players also receive a $109 New Year Series Main Event ticket for their efforts.

Then at 3:00 p.m. ET on January 9, we have an $11 buy-in PokerNews New Year Series Event Fiesta with a huge added prize. Come out on top in this tournament to pad your bankroll with the lion’s share of the prize pool plus a $1,050 New Year Series Main Event seat!
