Thanks to StakeKings, you can share in those players’ successes, potentially padding your own bankroll. Even if your picks don’t make you any money, you can enjoy the rollercoaster of tournament poker from afar and feel closer to the action.

Two to Invest in at WSOP Paradise

The PokerNews Live Reporting team is in The Bahamas bringing you all the latest from the huge events taking place. Two seasoned pros are soaking up the sun in the Caribbean and offering pieces of their WSOPP action.

Jessica TeuslAccording to the Global Poker Index (GPI), Jessica Teusl is ranked 14th in Austria, which is no mean feat considering the plethora of talent emanating from that country. The GPI also ranks Teusl in 20th in the female worldwide rankings.

Teusl became well-known on the poker circuit before her breakout year in 2022. The Austrian finished eighth in the $1,500 Monster Stack at the WSOP for $120,455 before winning the $1,000 Ladies Championship for $166,975 a couple of weeks later.

The Austrian grinder is selling action for two events in The Bahamas: Event #6 Deepstack NLH and Event #12 GGMillions NLH Championship; the latter comes with a $5 million guarantee. Tuesl plans to fire up to three bullets in each event, with markup starting at only 1.05 and peaking at only 1.1.

Joey WeissmanCheck the StakeKings marketplace any time of the year and you’ll find Joey Weissman selling action. The New York native has over $7.3 million in live tournament winnings. Weissman travels the world playing live poker tournaments in a wide range of buy-ins. He is currently playing a high volume of events at the WSOPP.

Some of Weissman’s action include the $2,750 Mini Main Event, the $5,300 Deepstack, and the massive $106,000 Triton Main Event, the latter available with only 1.03 markup. You can also buy pieces of Weissman’s Super Main Event satellite action and the $26,000 Super Main Event itself. Imagine buying a piece of Weismann’s Super Main Event action and him going on to take it down!

Ones to Watch at the WPT World Championship

Plenty of big names have action available for the various events that make up the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas.

Jonathan Van FleetWPT Global ambassador Jon “apestyles” Van Fleet is selling 5% of his action in the $10,400 WPT World Championship Main Event at a 1.3 markup. However, you’ll need to act fast because he’s already sold 3.9%, so there’s only 1.1% remaining. Daniel Sepiol emerged victoriously in this event last year and scooped $5,282,954. Should the same prize be up for grabs this year and Van Fleet got his hands on it, that 1.1% investment would return a cool $58,112!

Ethan YauVan Fleet’s fellow WPT Global pro, Ethan “WPT123” Yau, is selling action for the $25,800 WPT Alpha8 at Wynn Las Vegas, but that action is selling like hotcakes. Yau is selling at 1.06 markup, and has 3.3% remaining of his first entry and 2.6% of his second bullet. Backing Yau means you’re guaranteed a crazy ride because we all know how he likes to play poker!

Maria KonnikovaMaria Konnikova, who was trained by the legendary Erik Seidel, is an excellent poker player. Konnikova is in hot form having recently won her first bracelet in the WSOP Online Fall Crazy 8’s event in October. The GPI ranks Konnikova ninth in the women’s standings and sixth in the female Player of the Year race.

You can buy up to 5% of Konnikova’s planned four entries in the Wynn WPT $3K NLH $3 Million guaranteed at 1.15 markup. She also plans to play in the WPT World Championship, firing up to two $10,600 bullets. You can buy up to 5% of each entry at 1.2 markup. Having recently finished fifth in a €3,000 NLHE Mystery Bounty at EPT Barcelona, won her first bracelet online, and reached the final two tables of the NAPT Las Vegas Main Event, Konnikova is riding the crest of a wave right now.

Tyler HancockIf the name Tyler Hancock rings a bell, it’s because he is the StakeKings founder. Although Hancock tends to be super busy running the StakeKings show, he knows his way around a poker table. His $116,963 best score came courtesy of a 63rd place finish in the 2016 WSOP Main Event. More recently, Hancock reached the final three tables of the 2023 edition of the Monster Stack for $45,900 and won a $1,000 buy-in event in May 2024 for $73,192.

Hancock is firing one $10,400 bullet in the WPT World Championship Main Event; he has 7.8% left to sell at only 1.1 markup.

how many decks are used in poker?

In most popular poker variants, such as Texas Hold’em and Omaha, a standard deck of 52 playing cards is used. Each deck contains four suits (hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades) and consists of 13 ranks (Ace, 2 through 10, and the face cards: Jack, Queen, and King).

However, it’s important to note that the number of decks used in poker can vary depending on the specific game or variation being played.
