PokerNews Ambassador Kyle Anderson Dominates Global Poker Eagle VIII Series

The Global Poker Eagle Cup VIII series wrapped up this week and saw PokerNews Ambassador Kyle “KAA17” Anderson winning three trophies and the Gold Coins Player of the Series distinction.

Anderson streamed for 78 hours and made eight final tables, finishing first on the leaderboard ahead of Shane “MrBig327” Santos with three trophies and six final tables and “clabbers2” with three trophies and four final tables.

On the Sweeps Coin side of things, “FrancisXavier” won the title with two trophies and four final tables, while PokerNews live reporter and Global Poker streamer Claudio “AudioCloud” Elizalde finished second with the same number of trophies and final tables.

Here’s what Anderson had to say about his Global Poker Eagle Cup Series victory:

“Global Poker’s Eagle Cup series is now finished! I am proud to say I streamed every day but one of the days which resulted in 77 hours streamed, 3 trophies won, GC player of the Series and having some of my best viewership days! I think Global Poker knocked it out of the park this series, they really strive to make poker fun and inclusive for everyone with amazing prizes to be won!”

The leaderboard victory helped Anderson earn some more Golden Poker swag and merch, which he will surely sport at upcoming poker festivals.
