The Olympic Park Casino and Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel is again hosting the Queens of Tallinn festival, with the 2024 edition running from November 28 through to December 1. The Queens of Tallinn festival is a celebration of women in poker, and continues OlyBet’s dedication to inclusiveness.
In 2023, the Queens of Tallinn schedule featured seven events, including a €350 buy-in Main Event. Following its successful debut 12 months ago, the 2024 edition has grown to 11 tournaments, with the eagerly anticipated Main Event seeing its total buy-in reduced to a more affordable €250.
Ladies have the chance to win their way into the Main Event for free, thanks to a free satellite scheduled for 9:00 p.m. local time on November 28 and another at 3:00 p.m. local time on November 29.
Speaking of the Main Event, Lithuania’s Marta Porter (lead image) is expected to head to Tallinn and attempt to defend her title. Porta has some impressive results on her resume despite only recording her first cash on her Hendon Mob profile in August 2022.
Porter finished fifth in a £110 NLHE Women’s Championship Event in the United Kingdom for £1,060, cashed in the 2022 WSOP Online $500 Ladies Championship, and banked $4,421 for a third-place finish in a $200 NLHE event in Las Vegas.
After taking down the 2023 Queens of Tallinn Main Event for a career-best €6,167, Porter won the €60 NLHE/PLO Mix event for an additional €441. More recently, Porter was the fourth-place finisher in the €250 NLHE Ladies event and in the €150 NLHE at the 2024 World Series of Poker Circuit Tallinn festival, raking in €1,820 and €3,520, respectively.
