RunGood Poker Series Returns to Hard Rock Tulsa Oct. 8-13

Jesse Jones capped off a $73,448 win in the RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) St. Louis Main Event over the weekend, and now the mid-stakes poker tour will turn its focus to a popular destination six hours away.

Tulsa’s Hard Rock Hotel and Casino will play host to the next RGPS event Oct. 8-13, and the series includes a $100,000 guaranteed Main Event. The Oklahoma casino is a popular spot for RGPS regulars.

Todd Tucker took down the RGPS Tulsa Main Event back in January for $73,242, beating out 558 entries in the $800 buy-in no-limit hold’em tournament.

RunGood Poker Series Tulsa Highlights

The upcoming Hard Rock poker schedule includes 10 ring events and 10 opportunities for tournament players to walk away with some big bucks. Action begins on Oct. 8 at 10 a.m. with the $250 Seniors Event, a no-limit hold’em contest for the 50+ crowd.

Two other tournaments — $200 Ambassador Bounty and $100 Flip and Go — will take place on the opening day of the series. The Flip and Go will run on-demand for three consecutive days before those who are still standing return to action for the final day on Oct. 11. Tables will fill for every starting flight on-demand throughout the day.

The $800 buy-in Main Event, which promises at least $100,000 in the pot, kicks off Oct. 11 with the first Day 1 starting flight at 6 p.m. Day 1b takes place at 11 a.m. the following day, and Day 1c will start at 6 p.m. that evening. Those who still have chips at the end of any of the Day 1 sessions will return to the Hard Rock at noon on Oct. 13 to play it down to a winner.

Turbo satellites to the Main Event, which cost $185 to enter, will run at 3 p.m. on Oct. 11 and 12 right before the evening flight.

Players interested in staying at the casino can get an exclusive RunGood Poker Series room rate of $169 per night by using group code 0710RunGoo.
