Hustler Casino Live is facing some challenges thanks to a one-week YouTube suspension that is forcing the poker livestream to adjust its plans for the coming days.

The most popular livestream in poker history shared an “important announcement” on X to advise its followers what the plan will be for this week.

More Than Just a Short Suspension?

Ryan Feldman, co-owner of Hustler Casino Live, told PokerNews the suspension “has to do with advertisers they don’t like,” referring to YouTube. The channel has over 360,000 followers and the livestreams often get 10,000 or more concurrent viewers, sometimes as many as 30,000 for special shows such as the Million Dollar Game.

Feldman’s stream will be temporarily moving to Twitch during the YouTube suspension. The show will continue to go on this week, starting with the weekly Max Pain Monday show on Monday night at 5 p.m. Hustler Casino Live does not typically utilize Twitch, and generates most of its viewership from YouTube. But they’ll need to adapt at least for one week.

The poker stream, which takes place at Hustler Casino in Los Angeles, could face some additional challenges, according to Feldman. He fears the suspension could create some issues with previous videos they’ve posted on YouTube.

“We’re afraid it’s gonna trigger the algorithm with all our old videos,” Feldman said.

Feldman isn’t certain exactly why his YouTube channel has been suspended as it’s “impossible to get specifics from anyone there. You can’t talk to humans.” But he did suggest the suspension is likely due to the “advertisers they don’t like,” referring to YouTube.

All previous videos are still up and visible on the Hustler Casino Live YouTube channel during the suspension. But if the digital content platform deems some of those videos violated Terms of Service (TOS), perhaps due to promoting gambling related businesses, it could force Feldman and co-owner Nick Vertucci to make some changes to the business model or the companies they promote.
