NAPT Las Vegas Schedule Released $3M GTD Main Event Headlines Series

The fourth season of the North American Poker Tour (NAPT) run by Pokerstars is well underway and the action only continues to heat up with the recent schedule release for its marquee stop in Las Vegas. Running from Friday November 1st through Sunday November 10th at Resorts World Las Vegas, the series is not one to miss as it features a whopping 36 tournaments in the span of a week and a half.

Buy-ins range from just $250 all the way up to $25,000 so there are plenty of options for those who want to enjoy some live tournament action without breaking the bank while also providing an opportunity for high stakes regulars to satisfy their desire to play for eye watering sums of money. The high volume means the series comes with a healthy $4,000,000 in total guarantees, including a sizable $3,000,000 set aside for the $5,300 Main Event.

Highlights from the Schedule

The NAPT Las Vegas kicks off on November 1st with Event #1: $550 Mystery Bounty and comes with a $300,000 guarantee, not bad for a relatively small buy-in. The prizepool will be apportioned equally to the regular and bounty prizepools. A total of five starting flights will give players an opportunity to build a stack during the 30-minute long blind levels with the second and final day taking place on November 4th. Bounties only come into play on Day 2, so entrants have that much more incentive to fire multiple bullets as required.

Resorts World Las VegasAnother highlight from the schedule is Event #3: $1,100 Warm Up. That event has a $400,000 guarantee, the largest outside of the Main Event. Both of the two starting flights take place on November 4th with the final day playing out on November 5th. As with the mystery bounty event, levels will be 30-minutes throughout.

The largest buy-in of the series is Event #5: $25,000 Super High Roller. Although no guarantee has been assigned to the tournament, any event played at those stakes in Las Vegas is sure to attract a host of poker’s best and brightest. Unlike the lower stakes events, there is only one starting flight for the Super High Roller on November 4th. The field will be whittled down to a winner over the course of three days of play, with the finale taking place on November 6th.

$3,000,000 Guaranteed NAPT Main Event

The highlight of the NAPT calendar, the $5,300 Main Event, comes with a massive $3,000,000 guarantee, exactly double that of the 2023 Main Event. There are three starting flights across November 5th and 6th. Days 1a and 1b feature 60-minute levels with the option to re-enter once per flight. Day 1c, meanwhile, has 30-minute blind levels. Each of the initial days plays through ten levels with registration closing at the start of Day 2 on November 7th, at which point the field combines.

Day 2 sees level lengths increase to 90-minutes. With 15% of the field getting paid, it remains to be seen whether the money bubble will burst on Day 2 or 3. Regardless, a shot clock will be implemented from Day 3 onwards. The tournament is scheduled to reach a winner on November 10th after five full days of play.

Last year, Sami Bechahedemerged victorious from a 1,095 strong field to claim the $268,946 top prize. That edition, however, featured a $1,650 buy-in. Given the significant increase this year, both in the buy-in and prizepool guarantee, it is almost certain that the first place payout will come in a good chunk above the 2023 number.
