Get Ready for the Global Poker Micro Thunder Series VIII Running Aug.18-25
Global Poker is gearing up for the Micro Thunder Series VIII, which will feature dozens of tournaments and guarantees of GC 40,000,000 and SC 81,500 that make it the biggest Micro Thunder series yet.
The Micro Thunder Series VIII will take place Aug. 18-25 and feature tournaments with buy-ins starting as low as GC 250 and SC 0.25 and with various tournament formats that include progressive bounties, mystery bounties, and Super Deep events. Best of all, players can join in for free by claiming a daily bonus to participate in the series.
The eight days of Micro Thunder action will kick off with an array of events on Aug. 18 that include Mystery Bounty deep-stack events and Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) events.
The series will culminate with Micro Thunderstorm Main Events on Aug. 25 offering respective guarantees of GC 1,000,000 and SC 15,000.
Other highlights throughout the series include Super Bounty events on Aug. 23, PLO8 events on Aug 24 and Mystery Bounty Turbo Wrap Up events on Aug. 25.
After a week off, Gods of Thunder events will take place on Sept. 1 giving players another chance to win prizes and special Micro Thunder swag.
