The latest news update from Day 5 of the World Poker Tour (WPT) World Championship couldn’t have been bitter for Daniel Negreanu fans. The six-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner busted in the 17th position for $1,76,200 at the hands of Lucas Foster. After Negreanu’s exit from the WPT World Championship at the 17th spot, remaining survivors are guaranteed a minimum payday of $217,100.

WPT World Championship 2022 Day 5 resumed at Level 27 when blinds were at 100K/200K, big blind ante 200K. Benny Glaser entered Day 5 as the chip lead with 28,800,000 chips (144 BB).
