Irvine, CA (March 28, 2024)– Poker players should make sure they have their passports ready as the World Poker Tour® is now set for the second half of Season XXII. The schedule kicks off with a brand new WPT® destination, WPT Macau, followed by three other Main Tour stops and four festivals on the award-winning WPT Prime Tour.

“The first half of Season XXII has been outstanding,” said WPT CEO Adam Pliska. “Looking ahead to the second half of the season, we think there is plenty for poker players to get excited about as we will host festivals on four different continents with sensational global casino partners.”

WPT Macau festival will run June 18-24 at Wynn Palace in the special administrative regions of China, anchored by an HKD 40,000 Main Tour Championship event from June 20-24.

Another Asia-Pacific WPT Main Tour stop will take place later in September as WPT Australia, hosted by The Star Gold Coast, will run Sept. 12-25. The Championship event, with a buy-in of AUD $8,000, is scheduled for Sept. 20-25, subject to regulator approval, and will feature a livestreamed final table.

A pair of Main Tour stops in Florida will cover the entirety of November, beginning with the WPT bestbet Scramble festival from Oct. 31-Nov. 19. The festival, held at bestbet Jacksonville, culminates with a $5,000 buy-in Championship event Nov. 15-19, which will be livestreamed on bestbetLive. Directly following that event, the WPT Seminole Hard Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open festival will be front and center from Nov. 20-Dec. 4. The $3,500 buy-in Championship event, equipped with a livestreamed final table, will run Nov. 29-Dec.4.

WPT Prime will jet set to Taipei, Taiwan before traveling to three European locales. Returning for a third-consecutive year, WPT Prime Taiwan takes place Aug. 6-19 and will be put on in collaboration with the Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Association (CTP) at the Asia Poker Arena (APA).

September features a pair of Prime stops in Europe. Dusk Till Dawn hosts WPT Prime UK from Sept. 11-16, marking the Nottingham-based casino’s first WPT event under the Prime banner. Then, the return of WPT Prime Liechtenstein emerges with festival dates from Sept. 18-30. The CHF 1,100 buy-in event at Grand Casino LI AG last season that drew 1,644 entries holds the record for most entries for a Prime event, outside of the WPT Prime Championship at Wynn Las Vegas.

Rounding out the third season of WPT Prime is the WPT Prime Paris festival at Club Circus Paris from Oct. 14-27.
