Weirdest Hand of the Year? Rule Break Sparks Drama on Hustler Casino Live
Hustler Casino Live delivered drama again this week with surely one of the weirdest poker hands of 2025.
Playing for a $120K+ pot, cash game regular Pipi Huang sparked chaos after breaking one of poker’s biggest rules by showing his hand to fellow player Jae Cusick while opponent Chang “Jack” Lee was still to act.
The confusion erupted when Huang and Cusick apparently forgot a side pot was still active between Cusick and Lee in the $100/200/400 No Limit Hold’em cash game. The rare situation resulted in Cusick asking Huang to table his cards preflop, before Lee had made his decision.
Lee, enjoying a breakout summer after winning the $25,000 High Roller for his first bracelet in his debut WSOP event, took a walk after the hand, clearly confused by what had just unfolded.

Breaking Down the Wild Hand
We pick up the action with Pipi Huang, short-stacked to $40,200, opening to $1,400 from the hijack with A*♦4♦. Jae Cusick, on the button, three-bet to $5,000 holding A♥Q♠* from his $77,000 stack, before Chang “Jack” Lee, in the small blind with $204,000 behind, called with black eights 8*♣8♠*.
Huang then shoved for his total stack of $41,000, before Cusick made the call with $35,000 still behind. Then came the chaos as Huang broke perhaps poker’s biggest rule by showing Cusick, who was apparently unaware he was still involved in a side pot, the ace-four with Chang Lee still yet to act.
Lee immediately voiced confusion, asking, “What is that?” before the dealer clarified that if Lee called, Huang must table his hand to ensure all players were acting on the same information.
Cusick immediately apologized, and with the action on Lee, asked Huang to reveal his hand prematurely to the table, handing Lee a clear advantage before deciding on his next move.
The A*♦4♦* was revealed, Lee called for $40,200, and the flop ran out A*♠2♥10♥*, putting Cusick well in front of both players with two aces already on the felt and one in his hand. Lee checked, knowing he was behind Huang, before Cusick checked back to give him a free look at the turn.
The 9*♦* arrived, offering no help to Lee and leading to a further check, before Cusick made a minuscule bet of $5,000, which Lee subsequently called. The river came 5*♠*, giving Cusick the check mark and leading to a bet of $15,000, which prompted an immediate fold from Lee and Cusick scooping the $86,200 pot.
Lee then got up to take a walk, no doubt ruminating on one of the strangest hands you’re ever likely to see at the poker table.
