Best Kings Player on the Planet Wins Some and Loses Some

Team PokerStars’ Sebastian “peace&loove” Huber considers himself the best kings player on the planet. Whether that’s tongue-in-cheek is anyone’s guess, but these next two Huber-related Twitch clips involve his favorite No-Limit Hold’em starting hand.

Huber found himself heads-up in the $27 Daily Eliminator and facing a bet on a queen-high turn. Huber, who has pocket kings in the hole, stood on his chair, declared his love for the cowboys, and hit the all-in button. His opponent snap-called with ace-queen of hearts, making Huber a 68% favorite. However, an ace on the river cracked Huber’s kings, much to his dismay.

That loss stung, but Huber returned to being the best kings player on the planet in the $7.50 PKO event the following day. He raised all-in over the top of another player who had shoved and found himself against ace-ten. Again, he had around 68% equity, which instantly reduced to 9% on an ace-ten-four flop. However, a third cowboy on the turn all but locked up the hand for Huber. A brick on the river later, and Mr. Pocket Kings was back in business.
