Youll Be Stunned by Vloggers 2024 Poker Profits in Limited Hours
Popular vlogger Mariano Grandoli disclosed some stunning 2024 poker results in his latest YouTube video.
The poker player had a “down” year compared to 2023, however, but there’s a reason for that — he played far less poker. Still, the vlogger won about 10 times as much as the average American while “working” about one-tenth the hours.
Grandoli, like his fellow vlogger Ethan “WPT123” Yau, has become a regular and fan favorite on Hustler Casino Live where he’s competed in some of the biggest livestreamed games in the US. His rise from the low-stakes streets when he first began vlogging five years ago to where he’s at now has impressed his loyal followers.
Poker Vlogger’s Incredible Results
Most poker vloggers don’t go into detail about their overall performance at the poker table. But Mariano has made it a point in recent years to share his annual results. Last year, as he disclosed in the video below, he booked a $486,200 profit, impressive any way you slice it. But even more impressive given the context.
Grandoli played just 72 sessions in 2024 for a total of 485 hours, or about $1,000 per hour. He’s almost exclusively a cash game player, often competing on livestreams. The combined hours played isn’t much more than the average recreational player, and far less than just about any “pro,” yet he still won almost half a million.
Mariano finished his 2024 run with a $16,000 loss at Wynn Las Vegas just days after the WPT World Championship festival. It wasn’t all smooth sailing last year for him, however. He lost over $140,000 in consecutive Hustler Casino Live sessions in March, and then two other six-figure losses in back-to-back shows late in the summer.
“Interestingly enough, this is the first year of my poker career where I have made less money than the previous year,” Grandoli said in his YouTube video.
Grandoli won $850,690 in 2023, according to a video posted one year ago, nearly double his 2024 figures. But he did so in almost twice as many hours of play. He explained why he’s cut down on the poker the past year, and it has nothing to do with a decreasing interest in the game.
“There’s a few different reasons, mainly just personal preference,” Mariano explained for his limited 2024 play. “As you guys may know, I’ve developed a hobby/passion project with my new band Dear Delta.”
Mariano’s band, Dear Delta, will perform its first show Jan. 18 at the Viper Room in West Hollywood, California (Los Angeles area). The new rock band is “inspired by the depths of 2000s emo and the raw edge of punk rock.” Grandoli is the drummer in the four-man Southern California-based group.
The vlogger admits he’s put in extensive hours creating music the past year, but his income has come from poker. Grandoli also had a strong year on YouTube, increasing his audience from around 130,000 subscribers to 170,000.
