The New PartyPoker Tour Set to Hit the United Kingdom From April

PartyPoker last ran a live event in November 2023 when The Irish Poker Festival MILLIONS took place at the Intercontinental Hotel in Dublin. PokerNews is delighted to report that the popular online poker room is starting a new live tour, The PartyPoker Tour, with the first of five scheduled events coming in April.
The inaugural PartyPoker Tour kicks off on April 19 at Aspers Casino in London before heading to Manchester235 Casino from June 17, then north of the border to Alea Casino in Glasgow from August 12. Two more cities are planned, but PartyPoker is keeping details of those final legs close to its chest.

Although PartyPoker is yet to unveil the schedule for any of its new tour’s legs, it has informed PokerNews that each stop features a £150 buy-in Mini Main Event, a £500 buy-in Main Event, and several side events.
Additionally, PartyPoker plans a player’s party at each stop, plus a raft of prizes and surprises, including a spin-the-wheel contest, meeting famous poker players, and joining Q&A sessions with poker experts.
PartyPoker Tour Leaderboard Adds Value For Players
Throughout the first season of The PartyPoker Tour, players will earn points based on the tournament’s buy-in, number of entrants, number of payouts, and finishing position. The top 15 points earners throughout the tour’s debut season win prizes ranging from £150 Mini Main Event tickets to a PartyPoker Tour package worth £5,000.

PartyPoker plans to send at least 1,000 of its online poker players to the five PartyPoker Tour stops, and some of those players will win their way in from only £0.20.
The PartyPoker Tour satellites are a five-tiered affair, starting with £0.20 buy-on 6-Max SNG on-demand or a daily £0.20 multi-table tournament. Players can then progress through the other rounds to earn a place in the weekly final (Round Five), which starts at 8:00 p.m. GMT each Sunday. The weekly final is where PartyPoker Tour packages worth £1,000 are won.
Each £1,000 package consists of a £500 PartyPoker Tour Main Event ticket and £500 cash towards travel and accommodation expenses.
